All About LYNX!

A lynx is a medium-sized wildcat, usually bigger than bobcats. It has a real short tail.

A lynx's warm coat helps it stay warm and hunt better in the winter. It's usually gray in the winter, and it sheds fur in spring to get ready for summer. It's brown in the summer.

Unlike tigers, they're good at climbing, and unlike most cats, they like swimming and are great swimmers.

Lynx live quite a bit north of the equator in cold climates.

There used to be more lynx in Minnesota, but now they are a threatened animal.

This Bald Eagle is one of the biggest birds in the world! Its wingspan is 70-90 in. Now it's off the endangered animal list.

Polar bears live in the arctic, but they do not live in the antarctic. Some polar bears are at zoos like these. They like swimming. Polar bears are always white, and they are cool!
